This plan enables you to see the samurai techniques up close and to take pictures of yourself actually wearing the samurai armor that weighs over 20 kg. The technique you will see here is called 'iai'. 'Iai' is a method of coping with the sudden attack by an opponent. The technique is to stop the enemy by quickly drawing the sword and resist an attack. 'Iai' was a method of fighting, but in the present era when there is no war, it is regarded as a martial art to cultivate a healthy mind and body. You can feel the beauty of the consecutive movements of 'iai'. Focus your attention on the 'iai' in front of you when the samurai sits and starts preparing the technique. You will be surprised at the tense atmosphere before the 'iai' starts and the sound made when the sword cuts through the air. 'Iai' is held at a historic Japanese residence built 115 years ago. Furthermore, the area of the residence has a long history of 1800 years and its name appears in old Japanese books. Watch 'iai' swordsmanship and wear samurai armor at the place where real samurai existed. It is something you can experience only here. In addition to the armor, you can try on clothes of famous and strong samurai. Women can wear traditional kimono, the beautiful and gorgeous clothing worn by noblewomen.
