【OUTLINE】

This is a unique walking plan produced by three leading shops in Asakusa: Kimonokan, Komachi Hair, and Funawa. You will be able to wear an authentic kimono and learn how to do hair with kanzashi, an ornamental hairpin that goes well with kimono. If your hair is short, a partial wig is available to enjoy your new look in kimono. The kanzashi you choose can be taken home as a souvenir. What is more, you can try making 'tokoroten,' a jelly made from red seaweed, which is a rare experience even for Japanese people. And, you can enjoy a tea break with Japanese sweets.

This plan, produced by three long-standing shops in Asakusa, is only available here. It is a great addition to make an ordinary kimono experience even more memorable. We invite you to enjoy some of the many Japanese cultural experiences that Asakusa has to offer.
