【OUTLINE】
"Yatsuhashi" is a traditional sweet from Kyoto. You can bake Yatsuhashi by yourself and take them back home as a souvenir. Yatsuhashi is a hard-baked cracker made from rice flour with cinnamon and is very popular as a typical souvenir from Kyoto. You can take home two kinds of Yatsuhashi; one baked by yourself and the other baked by our factory. Change into a happi coat called "obebe", wear a cap and gloves. You will have a lecture on the tools, materials, and how to bake Yatsuhashi. You will bake 16 pieces of Yatsuhashi. Combined with 16 pieces of Yatsuhashi baked our factory, you will have 32 pieces to take home. Take your special memories filled Yatsuhashi home. Our shop, Kyogoku Ichibangai, has many other goods for sale, so stock up on souvenirs while you're here!

"Yatsuhashi" is a traditional Japanese sweet created during the long history of Kyoto. You can bake Yatsuhashi to take back home as a souvenir. They have a crispy texture and the flavor of cinnamon that warms your tastebuds with a slight sweetness. The original texture and the refined sweetness are said to be addicting. Now, it's a standard gift from Kyoto and bought by the majority of tourists visiting Kyoto.
You can take home two types of Yatsuhashi; your Yatsuhashi and some baked by our factory. You will change into a Happi coat called "Obebe", wear a cap and gloves. You will have a lecture on the tools, materials, and how to bake Yatsuhashi. After the lecture, you will bake 16 pieces of Yatsuhashi by yourself. They will be carefully packed by staff with 16 pieces of Yatsuhashi baked by our factory. You can take home your Yatsuhashi, full of memories of Kyoto. The unique shape of Yatsuhashi represents the form of "koto", a traditional Japanese musical instrument. Yatsuhashi from Izutsuyatsuhashihonpo has the shape of koto to show respect for the Japanese musician, Yatsuhashi Kengyo, known as the "Father of Modern koto."
