The Japanese south-central city of Nishio, also called as the Mikawa's Little Kyoto, is along with the worldwide known city of Uji (Kyoto), one of the top cities of matcha production.
First we will enjoy a brief tour around the Nishio's Historic Museum followed by a pleasant walk through the historic park, accompanied by our local guide.
Later on, we will make our final stop at an authentic Japanese Tea Room used many years ago by the Japanese nobility, where we will enjoy a wonderful Matcha tea experience .

Details】

During the Edo Era, Nishio Castle was the epicenter of the Nishio's domain, since the economy of the castle village prospered due to the production of rice and tea in the area.
We will learn from our expert local guide about the rich history of the city of Nishio through a pleasant walk around Nishio City Historic Park and afterwards, we will enjoy a unique Matcha tea experience.
The Matcha experience is held in an authentic Tea Room which in the past belonged to the Japanese aristocratic kin group of Konoe. Its ample space and its magnificent views of the Japanese garden will allow you to relax in harmony and enjoy the calming effects of the Matcha tea.

    From Nagoya Station, take the Meitetsu train line bound for Kirayoshida and get off at Nishio Station. It is a 15 minutes walk from the station.
    ・From JR Shin-Osaka Station,  take the Shinkansen’s Tokaido line bound for Tokyo. Get off at Nagoya Station and transfer to Meitetsu train line.
    ・From JR Tokyo Station, take the Shinkansen’s Tokaido line bound for Hakata. Get off at Nagoya Station and transfer to Meitetsu train line.

7 to 4 days before the tour date: 40% of the tour price
3 to 2 days before the tour date: 60% of the tour price
The day before the tour date, on the day of the tour: 100% of the tour price
※Right after the online settlement is made, a cancellation fee of 10% will be incurred in case of cancellation.
※The cancellation fee includes handling charges.
