【SCHEDULE】

Return to Shimada Station and end the tour. 


【DETAILS】

Take a guided taxi ride from Shimada Station to Kawagoe Ruins. After listening to the driver talks about the history of the Oigawa River and the origin of the name Kawagoe, take a walk around the Kawagoe Ruins and enjoy the old-fashioned scenery. The Shimada City Museum and the Museum Annex, popular for their retro interior, are also located in the Kawagoe Ruins area, so be sure to stop by. (Entrance fee not included)
On the ride to Horai Bridge, you can learn about its origins, and enjoy taking pictures while crossing its 897 meters. (Entrance fee not included) Afterward, you can have a cup of tea at the 897.4 teahouse (Yakunashi in Japanese) nearby or look for souvenirs. Don't forget to ask the driver about his product recommendations at Shimada.
The tour will end at Shimada Station and you'll get to hear stories about the locals on your way there.
