Mugen-an, boasting the finest architecture as a samurai Shoin during the Kaga Domain, is designated as a tangible cultural property of Ishikawa Prefecture.

Engaged in the preservation of Mugen-an, a tangible cultural property in Ishikawa, is Mr. Maehata, born into a family of Yamanaka lacquerware artisans. With over 60 years of experience, Mr. Maebata has consistently crafted pieces cherished by many tea enthusiasts.

This plan allows you to visit Mr. Maebata's workshop, experience the art of lacquerware, and participate in a tea ceremony in a private space.
