【STORY】

Nuri Studio Raku is a lacquerware artisan workshop located in Wajima, a renowned region for Japanese lacquerware production.
Although we are a small studio, we are particular about the "lacquering" of urushi lacquerware and provide our products to our customers.
Lacquerware is handed down through generations while repairing the item. With expertise in restoring cultural assets and a unique approach that evolves traditional techniques, the workshop offers an immersive experience where visitors can feel the craftsmanship and engage in exchanges with skilled artisans.

【SCHEDULE】

[10:30] Introducing RAKU and artisan Kazuyori at Wajimanuri Studio RAKU 

[10:45] Change of clothes and preparation. 

[11:00] Hands-on experience (lacquer painting experience at KOKEMUSU®). 

[12:00] Tour of the workshop, interaction with the artisans, and gallery visit 

[12:30] Lunch using Wajima-nuri tableware at restaurant “Kayabuki-an”, the thatched-roofed house

【CANCELLATION POLICY】

7 to 4 days before the tour date: 40% of the tour price
3 to 2 days before the tour date: 60% of the tour price
The day before the tour date, on the day of the tour: 100% of the tour price
※Right after the online settlement is made, a cancellation fee of 10% will be incurred in case of cancellation.
※The cancellation fee includes handling charges.
