In addition to touring two World Heritage sites from the water, this special tour allows you to fully enjoy the beautiful cityscape of Hiroshima from the river and the scenic views of the Seto Inland Sea islands from a high-speed boat.

【SCHEDULE】

This full-day tour is divided into two parts, using both SUP and a high-speed boat.

The tour starts at 8:30 AM at MAGICISLAND stadium park. The morning is dedicated to a SUP journey down the Ōta River, ending at Peace Memorial Park (10:00 AM). After packing the SUPs, we board the World Heritage Route Boat at 10:40 AM, traveling to Miyajima. The second SUP session begins at 11:55 AM to paddle towards the Great Torii Gate. Following light refreshments at 1:00 PM, we take the boat back at 2:10 PM. The tour concludes back at the MAGICISLAND park at 3:05 PM.

【DETAILS】

This tour utilizes Hiroshima's unique potential to conquer two World Heritage sites from the water in a single day.
Starting from the shop, you'll paddle down the Ōta River, which created Hiroshima. As you glide along, you'll see beautiful scenery and architecture while learning about the history, culture, and peace associated with the river. You will pass under the Aioi Bridge, which served as the target marker for the atomic bomb, and look up at the Atomic Bomb Dome from the water. This experience will truly help participants realize why Hiroshima is considered the city that conveys peace to the world more than any other.

At Peace Memorial Park, we temporarily pack up the inflatable SUPs and transfer to the World Heritage Route boat to Miyajima. Upon arrival, we re-inflate the boards near Nagahama Shrine and paddle toward the Great Torii Gate.

Itsukushima Shrine was designed to be worshipped from the sea, and using the SUP allows you to paddle through the Torii gate, experiencing the shrine's original form of worship. This is a truly valuable and moving experience. Optional tours, including guided visits to the main shrine buildings and Daishō-in Temple, can be added to deepen the tour's immersion.
