Discover the rich history of Mikuni, a vibrant port town that once flourished through the Kitamaebune trade, on this immersive half-day guided walking tour.
Departing from Mikuni Station, you will stroll through charming, retro streetscapes and explore local cultural highlights before visiting an authentic bonsai studio for a special "apprentice-style" bonsai workshop.
This light hands-on craft experience focuses on assisting with basic pruning and shaping, as well as watching a live demonstration by a master artisan. This tour is a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in Japanese aesthetics and bonsai culture, with plenty of moments for taking great photos and interacting directly with the craftsman!
