Enjoy a day tour from Hiroshima to Iwakuni with a local guide. The guide will show you around unique spots different from common tourist destinations, such as a restaurant in a mountain, a brewery producing world-class sake, and Kintai Bridge, one of the most beautiful bridges in Japan.

【SCHEDULE】 

Meet up at Hiroshima Station → Travel by train to Iwakuni Station (60 minutes) → Taxi (15 minutes) → Kintai Bridge (90 minutes) → Taxi (30 minutes) → Lunch at Sanzoku (60 minutes) → (followed by either of the following routes)

■ Dassai Route
 → Taxi (30 minutes) → Dassai Store (30 minutes) → Taxi (45 minutes) → Travel by train to Hiroshima Station (60 minutes) → Disband at Hiroshima Station (Duration: about 8 hours)

■ Murashige Sake Brewery Route
 → Taxi (20 minutes) → Murashige Shuzou brewery (30 minutes) → Taxi (20 minutes) → Travel by train to Hiroshima Station (60 minutes) → Disband at Hiroshima Station (Duration: about 7 hours)


【DETAILS】

● Kintai Bridge

Kintai Bridge is a historical wooden arch bridge and one of the three most excellent bridges in Japan. Its architectural style and appearance have been highly evaluated both in Japan and overseas.

This will be followed by visiting Iwakuni Castle, which displays a variety of swords and commands a gorgeous view from the top of the mountain. You can also enjoy the old townscape and local gourmet food in the area.


●Irori Sanzoku

This restaurant is a local favorite and skillfully utilizes the natural landscape of the mountain in its architecture and design. The restaurant's Japanese-style decorations and overall atmosphere change with the seasons as well.

Enjoy meals that use ingredients obtained on the mountain and a unique, natural atmosphere unlike anything you'd find anywhere else (food and drink costs are not included in the tour cost).


●Dassai Store

Dassai, some of the most popular sake in the world, is made here in Iwakuni. At the Dassai store, you can purchase sake and enjoy a tasting (food and drink costs are not included in the tour cost).


●Murashige Sake Brewery

Enjoy a sake brewery tour and buy sake from Murashige Sake Brewery, which makes sake using pure water from the area.



All meal and transportation expenses during the tour are paid for by the customer (including the taxi for the guide).

Please consult with the guide on the day to choose either the "Dassai Route" or the "Murashige Sake Brewery Route."

For the "Dassai Route," a local taxi fare of about 19,000 yen/group will be incurred. 

For the "Murashige Sake Brewery Route," the local taxi fare is about 8,000 yen/group.
