【DETAILS】

The sun shines on the main island of Okinawa and sets in Cape Zanpa. When the night falls, we will go to Cape Zanpa, one of the best spots in Okinawa to watch the sunset. Upon arrival, you will get a wealth of knowledge from the expert on science, constellations, and the universe.

Next, you will observe the celestial bodies in an open space with a telescope, while listening to guidance by an expert. Get the whole view of the starlit sky that is surrounded by the sea and free from high mountains and disturbing lights. Our professional photographer will take your photos with the magnificent starry heavens in the background.

Your tour will not end quite so fast! After appreciating the illuminations in the sky, you will enjoy the illumination on the ground. The tour proceeds to SUNSET FARM, the chrysanthemum fields, located a few minutes from Cape Zanpa. Okinawa became a major production area of chrysanthemums after it was returned to Japan after WWII. There are fields of densho-giku, chrysanthemum grown with artificial light during the night. The chrysanthemums that are lit up with lights have been written about in songs by musicians from Okinawa and now it is a special feature of winter, known and loved by the local people. 

SUNSET FARM manages the large chrysanthemum fields using sparkling and colorful lighting system. The flower fields and dazzling lights spread out in the dark as far as the eye can reach. The young farmer from SUNSET FARM will directly show you around the "Chrysanthemum Illumination."

There is an open-air cafe in the middle of the Chrysanthemum Illumination where you can enjoy talking with the farmer over a cup of coffee. You will have the chance to learn more about Okinawa compared to a typical tour.

Have a nice and relaxing and time at the end of the day while taking beautiful pictures of Okinawa.
