Create a One-of-a-Kind "Tombodama" -- Standard Course

【OUTLINE】

Craft your very own “tombodama” (Japanese glass bead with a hole in the center). Make your original “tombodama” by processing a glass ball. Our staff will give you a detailed explanation, so even beginners can enjoy our workshop without difficulty. Take home your self-made pieces as memories of your trip, or as nice gifts. Create a one-of-a-kind “tomobodama” at our shop located in Asakusa! There is a colorful striped awning at the entrance of our shop, so you can locate us with ease.

【HIGHLIGHTS】 

• Melt a glass tube and design the beads in your image. 
• Choose three designs, such as plain, dots, frosted, and stripes, from a variety of options.
• The finished "tombodama" can be made into a hair ties, earings, or a necklace.

【DETAILS】

Make original “tombodama” in our studio at Edo Tombodama Miharu in Asakusa. Your finished “tombodama” can be made into accessories such as earrings, necklaces, keychains, or hair ties. Create matching items with your friends! Children are welcome, but will need assistance from guardians when using fire. 

Our shop has various kinds of beautiful “tombodama” on display. They make wonderful souvenirs for your friends back home! 

After you finish, it will take about an hour before you can pick up your finished pieces. While you are waiting, feel free to enjoy sightseeing in Asakusa.  Explore Sensoji Temple and Hanayashiki amusement park!

• Time：60 minutes (+60 minutes before picking up the finished items), an additional 5 minutes for processing into an accessory

7 to 4 days before the tour date 40% of the tour price
3 to 2 days before the tour date 60% of the tour price
The day before the tour date, on the day of the tour 100% of the tour price
※Right after the online settlement is made, a cancellation fee of 10% will be incurred in case of cancellation.
※The cancellation fee includes handling charges.
