Special Invitation to the Honbasho Senshuraku Party!

"Honbasho" is a tournament to decide Rikishi's ranking. And the last day of the Honbasho is called "Senshuraku".  On the "Senshuraku" day of Honbasho, a party is held at the hotel to celebrate their ending the Sumo tournament "Torikumi".  "Honbasho" is held 6 times in a year and it's only 3 times held at Ryogoku Kokugikan (Ryogoku Sumo hall) in Tokyo in Jan , May and Sep. In this tour, you can experience this special party! You can also enjoy the closest communication with Rikishi Sumo wrestler, by taking photos or shaking hands with them!    


＊PLAN DETAILS

1. What is "Honbasho"? What is "Senshuraku"?

　"Honbasho" is the Osumo tournament for Rikishi Sumo wrestlers who are ranked, to do Sumo wrestling to compete. Honbasho is held 6 times a year. There are 15 days in a row at one tournament (basho). Honbasho is held in 4 big cities, Tokyo, Osaka, Aichi and Fukuoka. The last day of "Honbasho" Sumo tournament is called "Senshuraku".

2. Rikishi Sumo wrestler's Rank

　Rikishi (Sumo wrestler) is ranked in the list called "Banzuke-hyo". The strongest Rikishi is "Yokozuna", next is "Ozeki" and the next is "Sekiwake"… This rank is divided in 10 ranks and it's decided by the tournament competition to get a higher Rank.

3. Communication with Rikishi Sumo wrestler!

　Invitation for the Party after Senshuraku held only 6 times a year.
You can enjoy communicating with Rikishi Sumo wrestlers by taking phots or hand shaking with them.
It’s the only day that you can really talk to them that close!

【Access】Meeting up at JR Sobu line Ryogoku station, at Higashi-guchi (east exit)

【Remark】
・No age limit.
・You can take photos with Rikishi Sumo wrestlers.
・Some Rikishi Sumo wrestler may be absent on the Keiko-ba (place for training) due to training outside, or injuries. Please note it in advance.

 【Cancellation policy】

10 to 7 days before the tour date : 30% of the tour price 

6to 1 day before the tour date : 60% of the tour price 

On the day of the tour : 100% of the tour price

*Right after the online settlement is made, a cancellation fee of 10% will be incurred in case of cancellation. 

*The cancellation fee includes handling charges.
