<What is Reborn-Art Festival?>
Ishinomaki is approximately 2 and a half hours from Tokyo. Reborn-Art Festival is a comprehensive art festival held around Ishinomaki where you can enjoy Art, Music, and Food created by artists in various genres together with the local people with the history, culture and rich nature in Ishinomaki and the Oshika Peninsula as a background.

In this year’s official tour, an English tour guide will take you through 5 different areas to see 23 artworks from the Reborn-Art Festival. The locals who have survived the 2011 earthquake have encountered a devastating and life-changing experience and are now telling their stories through their artworks. This will surely be a chance for people to think and ponder about what it means to live. We invite you to participate in this festival not only with your body but with your mind.
【Tour Route】
(Start) Ishinomaki Station

(Sightseeing) Oginohama area (4 artworks)
See the symbolic sculpture, "White Deer (Oshika)" along with other artworks
↓
(Sightseeing) Kozumi-hama area (6 artworks)
There is a facility named "Ferment" where a hunted deer is cut and processed to edible meat.
You can observe the activity where harmful deer are repelled to solve the growing problem of harmful animals and utilize the deer with thanks as a community resource.

(Lunch) Seafood lunch at a local inn in Oshika Peninsula, Kobuchihama or Kyubunhama (45 minutes)
↓
(Sightseeing) Ayukawa area(4 artworks)
Take a look at the town which is going under reconstruction after the 2011 earthquake. You can see the town being reborn in a different form from the past.
