You can enjoy pairing your self-made nigiri sushi with 3 kinds of sake or 3 kinds of dashi (soup stock)!
As a souvenir, you will receive a special sushi chef's hat to wear during the experience!
When you go home, you can be the sushi chef and throw a Sushi party for your guests!

【DETAILS】

You can experience authentic sushi-making and lunch in a popular sightseeing area of Hakodate. Having a kind and careful lecture by a professional female sushi chef, even people with no experience can try making Nigiri (hand-shaped) sushi with confidence.

This experience also includes a tasting of 3 different types of sake or 3 different types of dashi.

The chef, who is also a sake sommelier, will explain the sake or dashi. Enjoy the rare sake and dashi available only here paired with delicious sushi!

Sushi made with fresh seafood from the cold sea of Hokkaido, and a cup of sake that warms your body will be an unforgettable memory of your visit to Hakodate. 

Take home the skills and techniques you have learned, along with the sushi chef's cap. After returning home, please entertain your family and friends with your hand-made sushi.

  A restaurant renovated from an old Japanese house, located along Aoyagi-Zaka Street, facing Aoyagi Elementary School. Turn left at the corner of the T-junction at Aoyagi-cho Kaikan (community hall). Please find the sign of "桜路" on the side road.
