Shamisen is a typical Japanese traditional musical instrument that plays a sound by strumming on a string with a plectrum shaped like a ginkgo leaf. The rich sound and tone of the unique tuning method are still popular with many music lovers today.
In this experience, when you come to the shop, the instructor will give a detailed explanation of the shamisen. They will teach you carefully how to hold the shamisen and how to hold the plectrum, so even if you have never played shamisen, you can learn it with ease.
Once you've learned how to play various scales using the three strings on the long pole of your instrument, you'll try to perform a simple song!
