Samurai Experience Plan – Immerse Yourself in Samurai Culture in a Private Setting

【OUTLINE】

Join us on an approximately 2.5-hour journey inspired by the training of samurai from the Edo period, designed to sharpen your mind and spirit.
At the end of the experience, receive a "Certificate of Completion" and feel a sense of accomplishment from deeply engaging with Japan's history.

【HIGHLIGHTS】

• Experience "Samurai Culture" amidst majestic nature, guided by an instructor well-versed in Bushido.
• Experience both martial arts like kyudo (Japanese archery) and iaido (swordsmanship) as well as cultural activities such as the tea ceremony and taiko drumming. This allows you to experience the harmony of both martial and cultural practices.
• Strike the 'Meihodo Taiko,' a massive taiko drum measuring 6 shaku 9 sun (approximately 2.1 meters).

【DETAILS】

The samurai experience includes martial arts activities like kyudo and iaido, learning the etiquette of the tea ceremony, and receiving instruction in kyudo. The experience concludes with all participants playing the large taiko drum together, celebrating a new chapter in their lives. The sword, tea, and bow are integral parts of samurai culture, used to refine the mind. This experience aims to provide insights and new realizations that can be beneficial in everyday life by touching the samurai spirit, which is different from daily life.
