Come and enjoy the quiet yet relaxing atmosphere of a 100-year-old traditional Japanese house. Far from the bustling cities, Yuki town is a peaceful place in the countryside of Hiroshima. You will be welcomed by the chayaku dolls, a traditional type of scarecrow, wearing local clothing and accessories.

Here you will discover old cooking technics that have been passed for generations and are still alive in remote areas, like iron rice cookers or Konjaku making. Konjakus ingredients are harvested in the area, is nowadays a renowned superfood all across the globe but its preparation often remains unknown. Your home for the night also has a handmade pizza oven, allowing you to taste fresh local ingredients with a twist, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with your host.

In summer, we recommend you use your free time to trek to the nearby mountain (1050m) to get a stunning overlook of the Seto Inland Sea that stretches to the suburbs of Hiroshima City. (additional fees apply) E-bike tours are a great way to explore the rural scenery. (additional fees apply)

Before bed, make sure to soak in the goemon bath, a big coldron used in ancient Japan as a heated bathtub. Take a deep breath and relieve your stress before enjoying a healing night of good sleep.

A word from our development team: "Not only the house is fascinating, but the landlord is an incredible host, with an outgoing and wonderful entertaining personality!"
