Thanks to its mild climate and abundant sunshine, Etajima produces olives with rich, deep flavors. These olives, cultivated without chemical fertilizers on once-abandoned farmland, are carefully harvested by local people.

In this plan, you’ll enjoy a special tasting of locally produced Etajima olive oils at the “Itanami-sha Olive Lab.” Guided by Mr. Mineo, a certified olive oil sommelier recognized by the Lazio region in Italy, you’ll discover the fascinating world of olive oil. Taste a selection of carefully curated oils, including those that have won gold medals at international competitions, and explore pairings with various foods.
