Choose your favorite kimono from a variety of choices and get dressed! Your hair will be arranged to suit your kimono. There is English speaking staff available to assist you. Feel free to ask for their help if you are not familiar with kimono. Our skilled staff will help you get ready, so there is no need to worry. You can walk around Asakusa comfortably, as your kimono will not lose its shape. Your hair will be arranged with hair accessories that suit you and your kimono. There are various kinds of accessories such as bags and sandals. You can leave your luggage in our care and travel freely around Asakusa.
You have the option to put on a high-quality "uchikake" (Japanese overgarment) worn by actresses in the popular period TV drama named "Ooku" and take photos. You cannot have this experience anywhere else! Take photos for a lifelong memory of your time in Japan. ("Uchikake" is a garment worn over kimono by noble women since around 1400.)

The shop is conveniently located within 1 minute from Tawaramachi Station and 5 minutes on foot from the Thunder Gate of Sensoji Temple. Leave your luggage in our care and travel freely around Asakusa.
2. Choose a kimono
Choose a kimono suits your tastes. Don't worry if you have never worn kimono before. The staff will help you select the perfect kimono from a variety of options. They speak English, Chinese, Korean and Japanese.
3. Getting dressed・Hair arrangement
Change into your kimono! Skilled staff will be available to assist you. Your kimono will not lose its shape. Your hair will be arranged with hair accessories (free of charge) to suit you and your kimono. There are various kinds of accessories, such as bags and sandals, available.
4. Walking around Asakusa
Immerse yourself in Japanese by wearing kimono and exploring Asakusa. Take a lot of pictures beautiful pictures to share with your friends! You will have plenty of time for sightseeing as you can use the kimono until 17:00.
5. Return the kimono
Please come back to the shop and return the kimono by 17:00. We hope you enjoy your day in kimono!

The last reception time is 16:00. Please return the kimono by 17:00.
You can go out wearing a kimono.
If the kimono is stained or damaged, the customer is to pay 20,000 to 150,000 yen.
For a child who is 125 cm tall and over, a yukata (casual kimono) is prepared.
Maximum 3 people are dressed at one time. People in a group are dressed in order.
You can leave your belongings (except valuables) at the shop. After the walk, you will change at the shop and return the kimono.
An ID card is necessary.
Uchikake is worn only in the shop. The stock of Uchikake varies when they are out for TV filming. If you like to rent an Uchikake, please contact the shop beforehand.
