This is an original plan of 【Attractive JAPAN】that you can experience traditional tea ceremony at a teahouse within Himeji Castle that is Japan's first World Heritage and National Treasure! You would not have many chances to charter the tearoom in the castle.
First, you wear traditional Japanese Kimono that is essential for tea ceremony. In the world of tea ceremony, the seasonal sense is crucial, so the staff gets you dressed in Kimono that suits for you and season. After wearing Kimono, English interpreter guide takes you to the teahouse while she/he tells you about Himeji City and the history of Himeji Castle. When you arrive at the tearoom "Roan," your instructor gives you a lecture of the tearoom and historical Japnese background of the tea ceremony. Please feel free to ask anything you want to know.
After the lecture, it is time to experience tea ceremony and you enjoy your own Matcha tea and seasonal Japanese sweets. In addition, you can take a tea set back home as a memorable gift.
